Hole #16 "Domino"

Disaster awaits the golfer who plays this par 5 with false bravado.

A series of fairway bunkers protects
the first landing area. If the golfer finds one of the fairway bunkers off the tee, then this brings into play the next series of cross bunkers short of the second landing area.

If the golfer finds their ball in one of the cross bunkers then this brings the sandy waste area just past the
second landing area into play.

If they find their ball in the sandy
waste area, this brings the bunker
protecting the front of the green into play, or makes their shot played to the left of this bunker to a very
crowned section of the green very
difficult.

One poorly executed shot on this hole
can lead to a domino effect of
disaster.
