Dave McNally
Dave McNally has proudly been an instructor at Angeles National Golf Club since 2016. He was a Lead instructor at the JRL Golf Academy and prior to that taught at L.A. City’s Marty Tregnan Golf academy. Dave played professional golf from 2012 to 2014.
Dave has always been a student of the game and has been fortunate to take lessons from and study with some of the best teachers in the game. After attending several Morad Golf Schools with Mac Ogrady over the course of 4 years he was able to analyze and correct swing faults which immediately improved his students games. Dave has also learned from Shawn Callahan at the Butch Harmon School of Golf, George Gankus, Dana Dahlquist, and Scott Cowx.
Dave has a growing stable of talented Jr. Golfers that compete at the elite level in AJGA and IMG world championships along with several local high school and middle school competitive players. Dave has also teamed up with John Leary’s California Jr. Golf Academy as an instructor for their developmental competitive player program.
Dave enjoys developing the games of aspiring juinor golfers, competitive armatures, professionals, and recreational players. He specializes in swing mechanics, putting, short game, and applying mindfulness techniques for the mental game. Dave holds several teaching certifications and is a Callaway University certified fitter and product specialist and has a B.S. in Business Management from Purdue University Global. Dave was also awarded best of teachers in Los Angeles for 2020 from lessons.com. When Dave is not teaching you can find him somewhere in the mountains on his road bike or playing golf at Angeles National Golf Club.
