The land was purchased in 1987. A lengthy period was required to obtain the necessary permits due to extensive and extreme environmental studies to ensure that the facility would enhance the existing landscape. A Conditional Use Permit was obtained in 1997 and the Grading Permit in 2001. Angeles National Golf Club opened for play on June 23, 2004.

No, five-somes are not permitted in order to maintain a quick pace of play and to preserve the best golfing experience for everyone.
Can players share golf clubs?
No, unfortunately each player must have their own golf set and golf bag to keep up the pace of play. Rental sets are available for $60 per set.
Do you permit walking?
No, golf carts are mandatory and are included in the green fee.
